NAEYC Accredited Preschool Program

Learn Grow Thrive

AGES: 3-4 years

At the Y we offer a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, grow, and develop social  skills. Our program is state licensed with the Office of Early Childhood (OEC) and holds is NAEYC accredited. All kids have great potential. At the Y, we help set them on a path to lifelong learning.

Our preschool program uses the CT Preschool Curriculum and Assessment Framework. Our preschool provides a wide variety of opportunities for each child to explore and learn in a safe and nurturing environment designed to meet each child’s individual need.

Safety is our first priority. All Central Connecticut Coast YMCA child care programs are following all the guidelines set by the CDC, CT Office of Early Childhood (OEC), Y-USA, and other sources to ensure our policies and procedures are aligned to keep our children, staff and volunteers healthy and safe.
