NAEYC Accredited Preschool Program

Find Your Potential. Find Your Y.

AGES: 3-4 years

At the Y, we offer a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. The Y supports their social-emotional, cognitive and physical development. When you know your child is well cared for, you and your family have the opportunity to focus at work, plan healthy meals, enjoy family activities and establish a routine. Please take a look at our Stratford Y 2024-2025 ELC Brochure

Our program is state licensed with the Office of Early Childhood (OEC) and is NAEYC accredited.

All kids have great potential. At the Y, we help set them on a path to lifelong learning. We use the CT Preschool Curriculum and Assessment Framework offering a wide variety of opportunities for each child to explore and learn in a safe and nurturing environment designed to meet each child’s individual need.

Safety is our first priority. All Central Connecticut Coast YMCA child care programs are following all the guidelines set by the CDC, CT Office of Early Childhood (OEC), Y-USA, and other sources to ensure our policies and procedures are aligned to keep our children, staff and volunteers healthy and safe.
