Students gain the opportunity to explore exciting career fields that let them work as part of a team. You’ll discover new ways to connect with your community, find your purpose and fuel your passion every day! You could even save a life! Learning is fun and easy! Through videos, group discussion and hands-on practice, you’ll learn—
- Rescue skills for use in the water and on land.
- First aid and professional rescuer CPR/AED training to help you prepare for an emergency.
- Professional lifeguard responsibilities.
- Surveillance skills to help you recognize and prevent injuries.
- Customer service skills.
- Swim Instruction along with basic swim skills.
TIME: Tuesdays 3:15pm – 4:00pm until June 27, 2023
