American Red Cross Trainings

Get certified in CPR/AED, First Aid, or Lifeguarding through the Blended Learning American Red Cross Lifeguard Course with our certified instructors here at the Soundview Family YMCA. For our Fall I session, we are offering the following courses:

Blended Learning Adult & Pediatric First Aid / CPR / AED Course
FEE: Facility Member $15/Program Participant $30

WHEN: Sunday, 10/15 12:30-2:30pm, Sunday, 10/22 12:30-2:30pm

*Please note that all online work must be completed before attending the in-person portion of this course.

Blended Learning Lifeguarding Course
FEE: Facility Member $0*/Program Participant $350

WHEN: Friday, 9/29 5-7pm, Saturday, 9/30 9am-4pm, Sunday, 10/1 9am-4pm

All Lifeguard candidates must:
Attend all sessions
Complete the mandatory pre course session on the first day of class.
Be at least 15 years old
Have access to a computer & internet

*Upon successful completion of the Lifeguarding class and the candidate is eligible and works for the Soundview Family YMCA for 6 months
