The Fairfield YMCA believes all kids have great potential and deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve.
And while these are unprecedented times, times that challenge us individually and as a community on many levels, the Fairfield Y day camp provides kids with a safe, healthy, familiar, and fun-filled environment for them to explore, build confidence, develop skills and make lasting friendships and memories, so they can grow as individuals and leaders. For families, day camp offers a peace of mind knowing that your child is in a safe and enriching place.
The health and safety of all Y campers, our team and our volunteers are our first and foremost priority. New safety protocols and sanitization procedures have been adopted to maintain the highest standards. CCCY 2021 Day Camp Safety Plan

In this new world we live in together, some old habits may be rearing their ugly heads, even if at first all was good. Long weeks at home with no sure idea when it will end, can, at the very least be very stressful. Our program encourages us to stay healthy together while living apart. This program includes weekly meetings for discussion and as well as nutritional suggestions and tips. Whether your goals are to lose weight, maintain your fitness, or just to connect with others during these difficult times, this program is meant for us all.
Once weekly we will meet together to talk. All meetings are held on Zoom, a virtual meeting platform.
When We’ll Talk: Mondays at 3:30pm
Register By E-mail: Joanne jorenstein@cccymca.org or Jenn jfleischer@cccymca.org
The New Year often brings feelings of positive improvement and change – a new year, a time to focus on living a better life and providing support for those around us. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a pioneer in the world of positive improvement and change, we celebrate him and his work, MLK Day, Monday January 18. For over 20 years, MLK Day has been a time that individuals were encouraged to volunteer their time to improve their communities.
Engage along side us to help our community. Together we can make a difference.
Donate! Our goal is to collect over 180 pounds of non-perishable food, household staples and other items at each Y. That’s a total of 1,800 pounds! Every canned good and toilet paper roll counts. Collection points are:
Volunteer! Get involved and work beside us with other community supporters. Sign up to volunteer for a safe, socially distanced volunteer shift at one of many events. We hope to have a YMCA presence at each! Volunteer groups welcome!
Support! Make an on-line donation to support this vital work so that the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA can help serve those in our community who needs us most. Our goal is to raise at least $3,500 during our Days of Service. Every dollar counts!
