What’s Your Reason to Give on Giving Tuesday?

2a. Giving Tuesday FB TW

Many people associate the Y with a swimming pool, treadmills, or even a place to enjoy a cup of coffee. But the true power of the Y isn’t found within four walls. The Y is in the hearts and actions of every neighbor who believes in our vision of a better “us” and a stronger community for all. Thanks to the support of neighbors like you!

As we approach the holiday season, we need your help to ensure we can continue transforming lives. Please give on this Giving Tuesday and let’s make our community a better place for all.

Give to the YMCA and help create a stronger community for all.

FIND YOUR JOY, AND SHARE IT!

Y Appeal Year End Social Post 1080x1080 Find Joy KidsAs we near the end of another year, we are filled with hope and optimism. Every day we are reminded of the power of community – whether it’s a child blowing bubbles underwater for the first time, a person running their first 5K, or a teenager realizing the power of volunteering through leadership programs.

These milestones are possible because of the unwavering support from people like you.

The power of the Y—and the power of community—is everyday people supporting each other in creating a better life.

While we celebrate each milestone, we know there is more work to be done. Children, families, and adults continue to need support, and the Y is committed to meeting those needs. But we can’t do it alone. We need caring neighbors like you.

With the magic of the giving season upon us, we ask you to find your joy and share it with others. Your support can mean the world to your neighbors in need.

Your gift will make a meaningful difference in so many lives.

Before and After School Care

FIND YOUR HOMEWORK HELPER!

The Y’s Child Care program provides a safe, enriching and fun environment for kids to enjoy. We strive to meet the needs of our families while providing quality experiences for the children in our programs. Where and how children spend their time is vital to their growth and success in life.

As an organization dedicated to youth development, we are working closely with the Board of Education! We’re happy to be able to provide that place, allowing your child’s social, emotional, physical and academic journey to continue long. Are also proud to be able to provide you and your family with the services required to remain healthy.

We help kids reach their potential and thrive in a safe, trustworthy setting. We offer a curriculum that aligns with the school day and supports growth in literacy, science, math, science, engineering and technology (STEM) while infusing the arts, physical activity and fun. We teach kids confidence, encourage self-expression and enrich social development. Providing our youth with the support, encouragement and positive role models that they need, will not only increase their ability to succeed in school but in life. For families, we offer a peace of mind knowing that your child is in a safe and educational program building new relationships and achieving more.

Everyone belongs at the Y. To ensure that all youth have the chance to participate, the Y offers financial assistance to those in need. Please talk with us to learn more. If you’d like to help send a child to child care, you can donate easily on our web site or at our Y. We also participate in the State of CT Care4Kids program.
