Help Us Bridge The Gap

Let’s get to our $93,000 Annual Campaign Goal!

Whenever we see a need in our community, the Y stands ready to help with open arms and caring hearts. Thanks to the unwavering support of our donors, volunteers and members, the Y has always been able to adapt and respond to the ever-changing needs of our community.

This year, we are proud to share that together, we have taught children to swim, housed the homeless, provided food to those in need, offered wellness programs for all ages, supported older adults and provided scholarships to many so they could participate at the Y.

Now, as we approach the holiday season, we’re asking for your help so that we can continue to support our neighbors and strengthen our community. No matter what challenges the future may bring, we will continue to work together.

Help us Bridge the Gap and meet our 2022 Annual Campaign Goal of $93,000, so that more children and families can participate in our programs. $1 at a time

How to Give:

  • Stop by the Y. Choose a card from our Bridge the Gap bulletin board with the denomination you can give. Bring it to the YMCA front desk and make your donation. Fill out the back of the card so we can post it on our Thank You Wall

Before and After School Care

Your Kids will make new friends and have tons of fun as they explore new adventures each day.

As an organization dedicated to youth development, we are working closely with the Board of Education! We know how important it is for a child to have an enriching place for learning and growth, both in and out of school. And we’re happy to be able to provide that place, allowing your child’s social, emotional, physical and academic journey to continue long. Are also proud to be able to provide you and your family with the services required to remain healthy.

We help kids reach their potential and thrive in a safe, trustworthy setting. We offer a curriculum that aligns with the school day and supports growth in literacy, science, math, science, engineering, and technology (STEM) while infusing the arts, physical activity, and fun. We teach kids confidence, encourage self-expression and enrich social development. Providing our youth with the support, encouragement and positive role models that they need, will not only increase their ability to succeed in school but in life. For families, we offer peace of mind knowing that your child is in a safe and educational program building new relationships and achieving more.

As a leading nonprofit committed to nurturing the potential of every child and teen, supporting their social-emotional, cognitive and physical development. The Central Connecticut Coast YMCA continues to give youth an enriching and safe experience. Our experienced and caring staff and volunteers model the positive core Y values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility that help build character. Our core values are woven throughout our child care program to create a warm, nurturing, home away from home. Your child’s growth, development, and education are important to us, as we do our best to ensure their future is bright.

Everyone belongs at the Y. To ensure that all youth have the chance to participate, the Y offers financial assistance to those in need. Please talk with us to learn more.
