Our Mad Scientists Club will engage children in a variety of activities centering around Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
Join us every Thursday night, February 28 to April 18, for learning and fun with motivational Y staff. Children will work hands on, making and creating different projects from slime, to crystal stars, to their own mousetraps!
This program is for scientists aged 6-10 from 7-7:45pm.

If your child is 14-15 years of age, they may be interested in our Counselor in Training program. In our CIT program, they will receive valuable job interviewing skills, child care training, leadership experience, team building and problem solving skills. Kids Fit is designed to get kids moving and active while having fun, incorporating basic aerobic exercises and physical activities to get their hearts pumping and interests engaged. Our goal is to ensure all children participating in YMCA programming have a solid foundation for a healthy future.

Even though schools are closed, the Stratford YMCA is here for your child care needs. Drop your child off with our experienced staff for a fun-filled day of games, activities, arts & crafts, swimming, and more!
Please bring a nut-free lunch, a bathing suit, and a towel. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items, so please leave your electronics at home. Preregistration is required. Registration ends two days before event so we can staff properly.
Additional Info: All participants not currently in the before/after school program or summer camp program will need to complete a registration packet, provide a current health form, and medication/medication authorization form, if needed, prior to attending the Y Vacation Club.

This program is designed to help those seeking a healthier weight achieve their goals by making small, modest changes to their daily behaviors and form sustainable, healthy habits. Participants will build skills for a successful lifestyle change.

On days when Stratford Public Schools are closed for the entire day, due to inclement weather, children enrolled in our Before and Afterschool programs may attend our full day Y Fun Club. Students can spend the day in a safe and fun environment challenging their friends to board games, creating art projects, swimming, and much more.
Pre-register today for our Y Fun Club, space is limited. Fees are paid in advance for the next inclement weather day. Any unused Y Fun Club days will be credited to your SACC account in May. If the Y Fun Club is in session and you choose not to send your child, you will not be refunded for that day.
TIME: 8 am—6 pm (weather permitting)

YMCA Camp Hi-Rock is the sleepaway camp for the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA! Camp Hi-Rock is a sleepaway camp and adventure trip center located in Western Massachusetts. Camp is nestled among 1,000 acres in the Berkshire Mountains, surrounded by conservation forest, and centered around a pristine, private, ninety-acre lake. It’s the ideal backdrop for the wide variety of activities, which include swimming, climbing, water skiing, archery, sailing and arts & crafts among many others.
