The most important round you’ll play all year. Make a difference. Help the Y stay on course.
The true power of the Y is in the hearts and actions of every person who believes in our vision of a stronger community for all. Every day, the Y provides food for those who are hungry; a safe, nurturing space for kids to learn and grow and outreach to seniors. Every day, we improve our game thanks to generosity of people like you, our members, our volunteers and our donors.
When you and your friends participate in our Annual Golf Tournament, you help us support adults, youth and families in our community with the YMCA programs and services they need to thrive.
Also, join the fun by participating in our Fire Truck Ball Drop Contest. At the start of the tournament, all golf ball entries will be dropped from the top of the fire truck ladder onto the green. The ball that lands closest to the mark will receive an Ooni Pizza Oven & Accessories (valued at $400). Ball entries may be purchased by visiting our front desk or clicking here. The Stratford YMCA received a very generous grant from Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to offer swim lessons to children in Stratford. Our goal is to help approximately 176 children over the course of 6 months. (December 2022 to June 2023)
Children must be referred to us by either school personnel or other agencies. Our goal is to offer free swim lessons to children who may not have the means to enroll in swim lessons, or perhaps have never been encouraged to learn how to swim. All swimming abilities are eligible, so whether we are working with a first-time swimmer, or building on skills already learned, all are welcome.
