Even though schools are closed, the Stratford YMCA is here for your child care needs. Drop your child off with our experienced staff for a fun-filled day of games, activities, arts & crafts, swimming, a different field trip every day and more!
Please bring a nut-free lunch. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items, so please leave your electronics at home. Preregistration is required. Registration ends two days before the event so we can staff properly.

Our preschool program uses the CT Preschool Curriculum and Assessment Framework. Our preschool provides a wide variety of opportunities for each child to explore and learn in a safe and nurturing environment designed to meet each child’s individual need.
To be enrolled, children must be three years of age by December 31 and must be fully toilet trained. A $50 non-refundable Family Registration Fee is due at the time of registration.
Half-Day Preschool: 9:00 am – 12:45 pm
Full-Day Preschool: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Extended Day Preschool: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
Care 4 Kids helps low to moderate-income families in Connecticut pay for child care costs. This program is sponsored by the State of Connecticut’s Department of Social Services (also called DSS). Our Mad Scientists Club will engage children in a variety of activities centering around Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
Join us every Wednesday night, September 4 to October 23 for learning and fun with motivational Y staff. Children will work hands-on, making and creating different projects from slime, to crystal stars, to their own mousetraps!
