Since our school districts are closed, our Child Care will be closed as well. We will not draft any participant account on March 20th. We will assess future policy and plans once schools reopen.
A note about School Age Care – There will be no additional charge for the additional days added onto the June school schedule. If the school year ends and there are less than the 180 school days, the YMCA will prorate the final payment.
A note about Summer Camp – At this point we don’t know when the school year will end. We will discontinue any prearranged summer camp payment plans and restart them on a case by case basis once a solution is reached for summer camp.
Even though schools are closed, the Stratford YMCA is here for your child care needs. Drop your child off with our experienced staff for a fun-filled day of games, activities, arts & crafts, swimming, and more!
Please bring a nut-free lunch, a bathing suit, and a towel. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items, so please leave your electronics at home. Preregistration is required. Registration ends two days before event so we can staff properly.

FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
We help kids reach their potential and thrive in a safe, trustworthy setting. We offer a curriculum that aligns with the school day and supports growth in literacy, science, math, science, engineering, and technology (STEM) while infusing the arts, physical activity, and fun. We teach kids confidence, encourage self-expression and enrich social development. Providing our youth with the support, encouragement and positive role models that they need, will not only increase their ability to succeed in school but in life. For families, we offer peace of mind knowing that your child is in a safe and educational program building new relationships and achieving more.
FOR HEALTHY LIVING
As a leading nonprofit committed to nurturing the potential of every child and teen, supporting their social-emotional, cognitive and physical development. The Central Connecticut Coast YMCA continues to give youth an enriching and safe experience. Our experienced and caring staff and volunteers model the positive core Y values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility that help build character. Our core values are woven throughout our child care program to create a warm, nurturing, home away from home. Your child’s growth, development, and education are important to us, as we do our best to ensure their future is bright.
FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Everyone belongs at the Y. To ensure that all youth have the chance to participate, the Y offers financial assistance to those in need. Please talk with us to learn more.
