Preschool Programs

LEARNING & GROWING TOGETHER

At the Y, we offer a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. The Y supports their social-emotional, cognitive and physical development. When you know your child is well cared for, you and your family have the opportunity to focus at work, plan healthy meals, enjoy family activities and establish a routine.

Two-Year-Olds

Children enjoy sustained independent and group play, stories, arts and crafts, creative movement, and music in a warm and nurturing environment. Activities are designed to support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, with a special focus on gross motor skills and outdoor walks. This program provides a gentle introduction to the school experience, helping children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning. State licensed. Must be age Two by December 31. 1:4 for children under age 2 1:5 for children age 2 and older.

TIME: 9:00 am-12:00 pm

3 Days: Monday, Wednesday and  Friday.

Three-Year-Olds

Children engage in sustained independent and group play, stories, arts and crafts, creative movement, and music. Activities are designed to support each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development while encouraging curiosity, confidence, and independence. The program also includes weekly swim lessons and Kids Zumba classes.   State licensed. 1:10 staff/child ratio. Must be potty trained.

TIME: 9:00am-1:00pm

3 Days: Monday, Wednesday and  Friday.

Preschool Four and Five-Year-Olds

Children engage in sustained independent and group play, stories, arts and crafts, creative movement, and music. Activities are designed to support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development while fostering kindergarten readiness. The program features hands-on STEAM activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking, along with weekly swim lessons and Kids Zumba classes.   State licensed. 1:10 staff/child ratio. Must be potty trained.

WHEN: Monday-Friday

TIME: 9:00 am-1:00 pm
