Book Buddies

Love to read with your little one? Want to prepare them for independent reading? Join us for a themed activity with new stories each week! This class is a perfect stepping stone on the path to Preschool, Kindergarten, and confidence! Adults join their children for 30 minutes of quality time reading a book and developing fine motor and academic skills in fun activities.

AGES: 2 – 4

Are you looking to get some quality time with your little one while helping them develop their social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and/or gymnastics skills? Our child and caregiver preschool programs can meet all your needs! We offer a variety of classes that will encourage your child’s confidence and independence.

Dance Til You Drop For a Cause

Join us for a Holiday Zumba-thon!

All ages are welcome!

This fundraiser is sure to make you sweat, laugh and have fun! Think of it as your Saturday night entertainment!

All the funds raised will go to our Annual Campaign, which funds our financial assistance programs.

WHEN: Saturday, December 14

TIME: Kids Zumba 4:30 – 5 pm, $5 suggested donation

Everyone else: 5 – 7:30 pm (if you can stand), $20 per person

Y Stands For Youth

Youth in our Branch Wellness Center

Our Youth Wellness Orientation Bracelet Program is designed for youth members ages 10-13 who would like to use our Wellness Center while their parent is in the room. Youth will be given FREE training with one of our Wellness Coaches to learn about each aspect of the Wellness Center. Youth members will learn proper technique, safety, and etiquette of gym fitness. Schedule your appointment today at the Member Welcome Center.

Wellness Center: Yellow Bracelet

Youth members, 10-13 years of age are permitted to exercise on the cardiovascular equipment with a parent after completing a free orientation with a Wellness Coach. The youth member must wear a yellow wristband when working out in the Branch.

Wellness Center: Blue Bracelet

Youth members, 12-13 years of age are permitted to exercise on the strength equipment with a parent after completing a free orientation with a Wellness Coach. The youth member must wear a blue wristband when working out in the Branch. Prerequisite: Must have completed yellow bracelet training.

Keeping Kids’ Minds and Bodies Active

The Y offers the following tips to help families develop healthy habits:

  • High Five the Fruits and Veggies – Make sure kids get at least five servings a day, the minimum number nutritionists recommend to maintain healthy childhood development. And to keep kids’ taste buds evolving, have everyone in the family try at least one bite of a new fruit or vegetable at least once a month.
  • Foster an Early and Ongoing Passion for Books – Read to and with your kids. Help children read at every age and every stage of their development.
  • Team Up for Athletic Events – Set a family goal of great health by teaming up for community or charity events like races, walks, fun runs, bike rides, etc.
  • Volunteer Together – Find a cause that matters to the kids. Open their eyes to a world beyond themselves and the rich rewards that come from making a difference.
  • Make sleep a priority – Doctors recommend 10-12 hours of sleep a day for children ages 5-12 and 7-8 hours per night for adults. Sleep plays a critical role in maintaining our healthy immune system, metabolism, mood, memory, learning and other vital functions.

Special Needs Open Gym

Need some time to spend with your exceptional child aged 4 – 13 in a fun unstructured environment, after a long week of organized activities? Please join us on Sundays from 10:15 – 11:15 am for one hour of open gym. Your child will enjoy jumping on our trampolines, rolling through our block pit, hanging from the bars and practicing their balance on the beam with your supervision. This is a drop in activity.


Martial Arts For All

AGES: 4 and up

Open to all ability levels: beginner, advanced and a family level. Our experienced instructors will guide students through progressive skill development based on age and grade.


Tune Into Your Child’s Development

Play with your child and meet others!

Playtime Pals is a mother/caregiver and child play class for ages 12-24 months.

Stepping Stones is a drop off class for 2 and 3-year-olds! A great way to get ready for those preschool years. Playtime, lunch/snack (parent provided), craft, storytime, circle time. A child does not have to be potty trained.  Stepping Stones participants have the option of attending both days at a reduced rate.

Camp and Outdoor Center

Our facility opens the Saturday before Memorial Day and closes after Labor Day. We offer summer pool memberships, group and private swim lessons, swim team, pool parties, and group rentals.

Our Camp and Outdoor Center offers 3 pools, snack bar, boating, tennis, basketball, rental, birthday parties, swim lessons and is home to our summer day camp, Camp Tepee.
