At the Y, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow up healthy, confident and connected. That’s why we’re excited to invite you to Healthy Kids Day — a free, community-wide event designed to inspire youth and families to build healthy habits that last all year long.
Healthy Kids Day is more than a single day of activities. It’s a celebration of what’s possible when families, neighbors and community partners come together to support the well-being of every young person.
What to Expect
More information on events & activities will be shared soon.
Why Healthy Kids Day Matters
Today’s families face many challenges — from busy schedules to access barriers that can make it harder to prioritize physical activity and well-being. At the Y, we work year-round to ensure all children and teens have access to safe spaces, nurturing mentors and opportunities to thrive.
Healthy Kids Day reflects our commitment to:
Youth Development – Empowering young people to reach their full potential
Healthy Living – Improving individual and community well-being
Social Responsibility – Ensuring every family has access to the support they need
We never turn anyone away due to inability to pay, and we are committed to removing barriers so every child can participate, connect and grow.
For Families of All Backgrounds
The Y is proud to be a place where people from all backgrounds and experiences can be, belong and become. Healthy Kids Day is open to everyone — whether you’re a long-time member or visiting the Y for the first time.
Our staff and volunteers are here to create a safe, inclusive space where children of all abilities can fully participate and families feel welcomed and supported.
