Each participant will try to meet a fundraising goal of $250. Every dollar donated to the Lakewood-Trumbull YMCA stays in our communities and goes directly to serving youth and families in need. We will help participants with ideas to meet their fundraising goal.
BIRTHDAY PARTY RENTALSThe Lakewood-Trumbull YMCA has two amazing facilities that offer a variety of party options to celebrate your child’s next birthday! Choose one of our year-round, seasonal, indoor, or outdoor parties. Our enthusiastic and experienced staff will work closely with you to customize the activities and space to create a fantastic birthday! To ensure you have memories that last a lifetime, our friendly staff is here to help you from the moment you arrive until all your guests depart.
Birthday children may have up to 21 guests, and the parents can stay for the fun! All parties will have 2 hours to enjoy our facilities.

This performance group will practice two days a week and focus on body movements coinciding with the beat and rhythm of hip hop music. It improves flexibility, develops balance and assists in coordinating muscles.

Gymnastics Private LessonsTailored for individuals seeking focused attention and customized training, these private lessons offer a unique opportunity to accelerate skill development, overcome specific challenges, and achieve personal gymnastics goals.

Little Gymnasts in Action: Gymnastics for ThreesCalling all parents and toddlers! Watch your little ones bloom with joy as they embark on a gymnastics adventure designed to captivate their imaginations and nurture their physical development.

Preteam GymnasticsThis class is invitation only and is designed for gymnasts that have successfully completed an intermediate class. Gymnasts will learn the foundational excellence to have competitive readiness of Level 2, Level 3 or Xcel Bronze. Gymnasts can cultivate their passion for gymnastics, refine their skills, and lay the groundwork for a successful journey into competitive gymnastics.

Lakewood-Trumbull YMCA Gymnastics TeamThe Lakewood-Trumbull YMCA gymnastics team has been inspiring and helping children achieve their goals since the 1980’s. Through the years the Y has produced multiple State and Regional champions as well as State and Regional team championships. Our gymnasts learn, through fun and discipline, the ability to achieve their goals. We believe that if a child believes in themselves and trains hard, then anything, even the amazing sport of Gymnastics can be achieved.

Child WatchKnow your child is safe and happy while you attend a group exercise class or workout! Child Watch allows you to exercise while your children play in a supervised area. Anyone using Child Watch must be in the building at all times and must have a family membership. There is a 2 hour per visit time limit.
WHO: Available for any child ages 6 weeks to 12 years with a family membership.

Our Y dance program has been encouraging dancers of over thirty years, and our dance instructors love what they do. Our instructors have experience in all types of dancing, including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Lyrical and more, much of the time at a very high and competitive level. We are excited to engage with students of all ages – from 2 to adult – presenting them with the needed motivation and encouragement to learn.

Our Youth Wellness Orientation Bracelet Program is designed for youth members ages 10-13 who would like to use our Wellness Center while their parent is in the room. Youth will be given FREE training with one of our Wellness Coaches to learn about each aspect of the Wellness Center. Youth members will learn proper technique, safety, and etiquette of gym fitness. Schedule your appointment today at the Member Welcome Center.
Wellness Center: Yellow Bracelet
Youth members, 10-13 years of age are permitted to exercise on the cardiovascular equipment with a parent after completing a free orientation with a Wellness Coach. The youth member must wear a yellow wristband when working out in the Branch.
Wellness Center: Blue Bracelet
Youth members, 12-13 years of age are permitted to exercise on the strength equipment with a parent after completing a free orientation with a Wellness Coach. The youth member must wear a blue wristband when working out in the Branch. Prerequisite: Must have completed yellow bracelet training.

The Lakewood-Trumbull YMCA has a long tradition using the martial arts style of Cheezic Tang Soo Do, developing physical defense, high personal standards, respect and discipline of mind, body, and spirit. Our 9th Degree Belt, Master David DeGuzman, leads the students in self-defense, forms, weapons, sparring, and board breaking. We offer a variety of classes beginning at age 4. There are even summer clinics and occasional tournaments!

Gymnastics is a long-standing tradition of YMCAs and we provide exceptional gymnastic experiences for all ages and abilities. Our leadership team is dedicated to programs that increase agility, flexibility and strength while the utilizing the unique amenities of our 6,000 square foot facility. All participants have the opportunity to develop their ability through the use of an in-ground trampoline, full-sized TumbleTrak, and 400 square foot foam safety pit. Through the use of Olympic equipment, the Lakewood-Trumbull YMCA’s team is able to deliver a program that creates life-long memories and community.
